Facebook for iOS has recently been updated to version 3.4 which has introduced some great features. The Facebook places feature lets you discover which friends are nearby. If you will go to the “Places” icon, you will see an option labeled “Maps”. Tapping on Maps will list down pictures of your friends on the map and touching on their pictures will let you find their location on Google Maps in no time.

Another exciting yet cool feature is the ünfriending” function. You can now unfriend people easily than ever before. You can unfriend people right from your iPhone or iPod touch, however the app is not designed for iPad. The update also lets you check-in to events that you already committed to attending.
