Firefox 4 RC – Available for Download

All those who have been diligently waiting for the first Release Candidate(RC) of Firefox web browser, there is good news for them. Mozilla has finally unveiled the first RC of Firefox4 as promised. It is now available for download here for Windows.

Use the link to download the Firefox4 RC1 installer for Mac while the Linux version is here.

A complete list of all the features that are part of Firefox 4 beta is outlined at this page. The remarkable change include “crash protection on tabs” which can save our important work and prevent the browser from going down, in case of a tab-crash.

Interestingly, the final release of IE9 is round the corner.
